The part everyone else skipped

Not just data. Voice.

On the same eSIM that carries your data, simsonic carries a real, regulated voice line. The hard part nobody else builds, and the part that keeps telecare alarms, lift autodiallers and emergency lines alive as the PSTN copper network is switched off.

Voice + data, one eSIM
The PSTN switch-off

Copper is going dark.

Across the UK and Europe the analogue PSTN and ISDN lines are being switched off, with the UK migration running to the end of January 2027. Every device that quietly relied on a copper voice line, alarms, lifts, telecare units and intercoms, now needs a new way to make a call. simsonic puts that voice line on the same multi-carrier eSIM as the data.

  • No copper and no truck roll
  • Voice and data on one regulated eSIM
  • Routed across carriers, with no single point of failure

Where it matters

Voice that cannot drop.

01

Telecare & alarms

Keep emergency call paths alive for personal alarms and warden lines as the PSTN is switched off, with no copper and no site visit.

02

Lifts & emergency lines

Compliant voice for lift autodiallers and safety phones, provisioned remotely over eSIM and audited from the console.

03

Multi-carrier by design

Voice routed across carriers from day one, so a single network outage never takes the line down.

04

Intercoms & access

Door entry, gate intercoms and EV bays keep their voice channel without a dedicated landline per unit.

How it works

One eSIM. Voice and data.

The voice line and the data session share the same regulated eSIM identity, so you provision, secure and bill them as one.

  • Real, regulated voice, not best-effort VoIP over the open internet
  • Multi-carrier routing with automatic failover
  • Remote provisioning over SGP.32, with no field visit
  • Hyper ID on every line for tamper-evident identity

Voice FAQ

Questions about voice.

What is the PSTN switch-off?

The retirement of the analogue PSTN and ISDN telephone network. In the UK the migration to digital runs to the end of January 2027, which affects any device that quietly relied on a copper voice line.

Can a lift emergency line run over eSIM?

Yes. simsonic provides a compliant voice path for lift autodiallers and safety phones over a multi-carrier eSIM, provisioned remotely and monitored from the console.

Is voice over eSIM regulated?

Yes. simsonic carries a real, regulated voice line rather than best-effort VoIP over the open internet, so it meets the call quality and emergency obligations these use cases require.

What happens to telecare alarms when copper is switched off?

They move to cellular voice. An eSIM line keeps the alarm path alive across carriers, with no truck roll and automatic failover if one network drops.

Do I need a separate SIM for voice and data?

No. The same eSIM carries both, so you provision, secure and bill one line instead of two.
